Just showing how the wagner paintcrew 770 paints on a primed surface. Dump in a gallon of latex (in this case) paint in the hopper and paint away! I experienced no clogging or coverage issues while painting a mini-barn and run of 6′ privacy fencing. Went on great. Paints so fast I am slowing it down.

Hey, I had one of these, but its junk. Painted for about 3 gallons barn and fence paint but the thing quit on me. I pitched in the back of the barn, and just yesterday found it. I wrote to Wagner, and of course being a few years old, they wont do anything for me.. I’m going to post a Wagner sprayer destruction video on here. Just have to figure on fire, flood, or dozer as method of kill. LoL..

Being that it was a BARN DOOR, and not the Sistine Chapel, I am perfectly happy with the level of surface pattern continuity that was afforded me.

But I appreciate your time and support for showing concern over it.

Now, I should tell you how the building ruined my main/front entry door to my house.

Eh, that seems cheap. Every time u stop or start the stroke u get a discontinuity in the surface pattern. U MUST do footwork.

These units – especially refurbished – are a good deal for the money. I got one from Big Lots for $99 refurbed. Cleaning is time consuming and tedious, but I’ve used it twice to paint my house with no problems. Even used ULTRA thick HD Behr paint. Laid it down even with no thinner.

Just be sure to take all pieces apart, clean WELL, lube well, and pick up an extra inlet/outlet valve pair from Ebay for future (long term) use. You’ll need them.

It was the longest WIDTH stroke I could comfortably do without footwork.

I have worked in a body shop, btw, and that is the type of stroke we used.

Goal was maintaing even DISTANCE from the surface.

U should use the longest stroke available. Not blasting back and forth like a spray can.

I have only used latex. But the only thing I can imagine is that the cleanup would required paint thinner or spirits.
