All DeVilbiss QMG galvanized and QMS stainless steel tanks are built to ASME safety specifications and comply with OSHA Federal Safety Regulations.

QMG Galvanized Steel
QMG tanks are made of galvanized steel and are primarily used with non-corrosive materials. QMG tanks have ports for both bottom and top fluid outlets. Bottom outlet recommended for heavy viscous materials, such as emulsified asphalts, asphalts, rubber compounds etc.

QMS Stainless Steel
QMS tanks are constructed of 303, 304 and 316 grade stainless steel.

Following fabrication, the tank shell and lid are "electropolished." This process smooths and cleans the surface anodically in a bath of concentrated acid, which "passivates" the stainless steel surface against corrosion and removes metal impurities or residue that may contaminate coating materials. Agitator paddles are molded from glass-filled nylon, which do not react with paint materials. So QMS stainless steel tanks are truly compatible with corrosive, waterborne, and acid catalyzed materials, as well as those containing halogenated hydrocarbons. Plus, all electropolished surfaces are bright and smooth, making them easy to clean.

Reciprocating Air Motor - QSR-503. Slow back and forth action ensures excellent agitation. Uses 50% less air than rotary type air motors. 6 CFM at 50 RPM. 1 to 40 strokes per minute.
Direct Drive Agitator - QMS-430 (for use with QMS) QMG-416 (for use with QMG). Air-powered direct drive agitator assembly with 1/4 hp air motor and a three-blade propeller to keep materials mixed in suspension. For 2 Gal. Tanks.
Hand Crank - QM-142. For manual operation of agitator.

Paint Agitator Drive - QS-5003. For use with paint drums having built-in agitators. Powerful variable speed air motor. Requires 5 to 8 CFM air at 50 RPM; adjustable from 10 RPM up.
Air Motor Drive - QS-5012. Standard duty, smooth running with gear reducer, 1/4 hp, 15:1 ratio, 20 to 120 RPM. Includes throttling valve, fittings, and hose for connection to air supply on tank lid. Fits 2,5,10,15 gal. tanks.

Semi-rigid tank liners of tough, durable, high density (pink) polyethylene with "ANTI-STAT" additive which minimizes static electricty build-up from the friction of shipping and handling liners. Available in 2,5 and 10 gallon-sizes.
